The Recommendation
As a Cozumel wedding photographer, referrals mean everything. When someone recommended Sarah and Blake to us, I already had a good feeling, but the Zoom call would seal it.
The Zoom Call
We met over Zoom, and from the very beginning, the energy was easy. No awkward pauses, no forced questions, just a genuine conversation about their vision, their story, and why Cozumel felt right for their wedding.
Then Sarah’s cats made a surprise appearance.
They wandered confidently across the screen, instantly breaking any remaining formality. We laughed, almost lost track of the conversation for a moment, and just like that, the ice was gone. The call felt more like friends talking than a consultation.
By the end of it, I knew I wanted to photograph their wedding.

Choosing Each Other
Photography isn’t just about showing up with a camera, it’s about trust and finding those unique moments.. Sarah and Blake trusted me to document one of the most important days of their lives, and I felt equally confident stepping into that role for them.
We talked through pacing, light, and how to make space for real moments. Nothing rushed. Nothing overly staged. Just a wedding day that could unfold naturally.

A small, intimate, and deeply emotional wedding day.
The ceremony was filled with happy tears, quiet ones, sudden ones, the kind you don’t plan for. As their photographer, my goal was to capture those moments honestly while allowing Sarah and Blake to stay fully present with each other.
This is where experience matters most: knowing when to step forward and when to disappear.
Photographing a Wedding at Cozumel Palace
Cozumel Palace is a dream location for wedding photography when you know how to work with it.
The clean white architecture reflects light beautifully. The Caribbean blues shift throughout the day. The ocean breeze keeps everything moving and alive.
Sarah and Blake’s timeline allowed for a relaxed couple session, which meant we could explore the property without pressure. We photographed at four distinct locations:
Oceanfront views with endless horizons
Modern architectural lines softened by tropical light
Quiet corners away from the crowd
Golden-hour light that wrapped everything in warmth
Each spot offered a different feel, yet all of them felt unmistakably Cozumel.
The Sneak Peek
Within 24 hours, I delivered their sneak peek.
Those first images are about emotion more than perfection, giving couples something real to hold onto while the memories are still fresh. Sarah and Blake’s sneak peek reflected exactly what the day felt like: intimate, joyful, and calm.
Full Circle
From a Zoom call filled with laughter (and cats) to a meaningful wedding day at Cozumel Palace, Sarah and Blake’s story is a reminder of why I love being a Cozumel wedding photographer.
When clients trust the process, the location, and the connection, the result is something timeless.
And this one truly was.
