A Flying Dress Birthday Dream in Cozumel 🧡🐎

It all started with a message from a client who had a very clear vision: she wanted a flying dress session—and she wanted to do it with a horse. From the first message, I knew this was going to be something special!!

After a bit of planning, we arranged the shoot at Mr. Sancho’s Beach Club, one of my favorite locations in Cozumel. Turquoise water, wide-open beach, and the perfect breeze for a flying dress—everything aligned beautifully.

The Horse, the Dress, and a Lot of Personality

We had the horse for 30 minutes, and the staff at Mr. Sancho’s were absolutely amazing—helpful, professional, and genuinely excited to be part of the experience. The horse quickly became the star of the session. His name was Azcur, which means sugar in Spanish, and the name could not have been more perfect.

Azcur was hilarious. Between poses, he kept trying to snack on coconuts along the beach, giving us all plenty of laughs and adding so much personality to the shoot. Those little moments made the session feel natural, joyful, and unforgettable.

The Perfect Color Choice

The client chose the orange flying dress, and wow—what a choice. Against the deep blue ocean and bright Caribbean sky, the color absolutely popped. The movement of the fabric, the calm strength of the horse, and the vibrant setting came together in the most striking way.

Every frame felt powerful, elegant, and full of life.

A Birthday to Remember

This session wasn’t just a photoshoot—it was a birthday celebration. A once-in-a-lifetime experience filled with laughter, beauty, and a little bit of coconut-loving chaos.

It was truly a great day, and I’m so grateful to have been part of it.
