There’s something magical about photographing a couple in a place where the pace of life seems to slow down. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery, warm island light, and the beauty of Cozumel, this couple session at the InterContinental Presidente Cozumel Resort & Spa was filled with the kind of genuine moments that make photographs feel like memories.

And this session wasn’t just about the two of them—it was about their little family, too.

Their adorable pup came along for the session and immediately became part of the story. Snuggled comfortably in their arms, the dog brought so much personality and sweetness to the photographs.

From the pink collar and tiny bone-shaped tag to the way the couple naturally interacted with their pup, it was clear that this furry companion is an important part of their life together.

That’s one of my favorite parts of photographing couples: looking beyond the traditional poses and capturing the relationship as it really feels. The little in-between moments often become the photographs you treasure most.

The InterContinental Presidente Cozumel provided the perfect backdrop for that approach. The lush gardens and peaceful tropical setting allowed us to create images that felt romantic and intimate without losing the relaxed feeling of being on vacation in Cozumel.

But what makes these photographs special isn’t just the beautiful resort or the tropical scenery. It’s the story they tell.
